Also it has a sentimental and historical value for me. It represents all the brave who fought defending Dixie, Americans and Cubans (read "Cubans in the Confederacy" by Phillip Thomas Tucker) both fighting for the same cause, its glamour glory and pride. The Southerners are known for their unique manners; the men are true gentlemen, and the women are true ladies, both are well educated and their hospitality and beauty are unequal to any other. This ring must be worn with honor and respect. I wear it every year in the month of November, commemorating the brave who died in the battle of Honey Hill (read "Cuban Confederate Colonel" by DeLa Cova) November 30th, 1860.
