After visiting many jewelers, he was convinced that he wanted a tungsten ring (in the case that enough pressure would be on his hand, the ring would shatter before ever bending around his finger). Most of the tungsten rings in fine jewelry stores sell for $100+ for the same ring. He chose this ring for the comfort fit and because he wanted a more masculine ring. He's the type of guy that never wears jewelry, but he says the ring is perfect and he's just upset that he can't wear it until we're married. The only "bad" thing he had to say was that the ring was heavier than he expected, but it doesn't actually bother him at all. Just know that tungsten is a heavier metal. Overall the ring is great, great buy!
